Requesting access puts you in line, but it doesn't let you play yet. The two App IDs matter too: you ask from the game's store page, and the playtest shows up in your library as its own app.
What Is the Seikyu Let's Go! Playtest?
The Seikyu Let's Go! playtest is a limited test that runs before the full game's release date. Only accepted players get in, and the developer controls how many people join and when. It's the only way to play Seikyu Let's Go! before launch.
The Playtest Is Its Own Steam App
Seikyu Let's Go! has two Steam apps. The store page (App ID 4928080) is the game itself, and it still says "This game is not yet available on Steam." The playtest is a separate app (App ID 5269030). You request access from the store page, but if you're accepted, what lands in your library is the playtest entry, not the full game.
How to Join the Playtest on Steam
- Sign in to Steam. Either the desktop app or the Steam website in a browser works. You'll see your account name in the top-right corner.
- Open the Seikyu Let's Go! store page (App ID 4928080). The "not yet available" notice is expected, so don't stop there.
- Find the box titled "Join the Seikyu Let's Go! Playtest" on that same page. It sits right above the "not yet available" notice and has a Request Access button.
- Click Request Access, then confirm. A small window titled "Seikyu Let's Go! Playtest" pops up and says you'll get an email when the developer is ready; click Request Access again in that window. It's free, and you don't need to buy anything.
- Check your status. Steam shows a "Request Submitted" message. Refresh the store page and the playtest box now reads "You've requested access!" Nothing appears in your library yet, and that's normal.

When Is the Next Playtest Wave?
Is There an NDA? Can You Stream It?
No NDA has been announced for the Seikyu Let's Go! playtest, and there are no announced rules on streaming or recording. If ACE Entertainment publishes any, we'll update this page. For general context only: Steam playtests vary. Some ask testers to keep things private, while others welcome streams. That's a broad pattern, not a statement about this playtest.
Playtest vs Full Game: What's Included
What the playtest includes has not been announced: which areas, which features, whether online co-op is available, how long sessions last, or whether progress carries over to the full game. What we do know is what the full version of Seikyu Let's Go! is built around: documenting shy creatures, customizing a camper van, camping and cooking, and traveling biomes from misty swamps to snowy mountains. Treat that as the full game's feature list, not a preview of the playtest.
